A top-tier global investment bank is seeking a highly skilled Quant Developer (Python) to join its Securitized Products Trading Group, with a focus on mortgage-backed securities (MBS). This is a unique opportunity to work within a small, high-impact team that operates with the agility of a startup but with the resources and backing of a major financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain pricing, analytics, and risk infrastructure for MBS trading.

  • Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and risk managers to build tools that support daily trading activity and strategic initiatives.

  • Design and implement scalable solutions in Python for large data sets and complex models.

  • Work on automating trading workflows and enhancing the team’s ability to scale rapidly.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong Python development skills; experience with numerical computing libraries (NumPy, pandas, etc.).

  • Background in quantitative finance, mortgage products, or fixed income preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, front-office environment.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Prior experience in a trading desk or quant group is a plus.
