Senior Clinical Research Associate – Remote with 50% travel 
Full?Time | Clinical Operations

A growing clinical?stage organization is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate to support the monitoring and execution of complex, high?impact clinical studies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working closely with investigative sites, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and patient safety.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead routine site monitoring activities, including qualification, initiation, interim, and close?out visits
  • Independently manage multiple investigative sites and provide operational guidance to ensure protocol adherence and data integrity
  • Oversee site performance, verify source data, and review study documentation to support timely and accurate data entry
  • Train and support investigators and site staff on study procedures, regulatory expectations, and GCP compliance
  • Contribute to site start?up activities, feasibility assessments, and investigator selection
  • Partner with sites to support enrollment, troubleshoot operational challenges, and maintain inspection readiness
  • Document monitoring activities in clinical systems and collaborate cross?functionally to support overall study execution
  • Identify operational risks, implement mitigation strategies, and support risk?based monitoring approaches

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • 4+ years of independen clinical monitoring experience within pharma or biotech
  • Ideally background in complex therapeutics – cell therapy, gene therapy, etc
  • Strong background working with academic medical centers and sites with varying levels of industry experience
  • Experience monitoring complex or high?acuity clinical trials
  • Deep understanding of ICH?GCP, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial operations
  • Proficiency with eTMF, CTMS, and EDC platforms
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem?solving skills
  • Ability to travel for on?site monitoring as needed
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to quality

Compensation
Base salary range: $120,000 – $145,000, commensurate with experience.
