We have an immediate need for a CT/X-Ray Technologist traveler to support Imaging Services.

Contract Length: 13-week contract
Start Date: June 15th, 2026
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts — Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings
Department: Imaging Services — CT/X-Ray
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital 

Primary Role:
Independent CT/X-Ray Technologist responsible for performing routine and emergent CT and diagnostic X-Ray exams in support of Imaging, Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient services. This position will provide evening/weekend coverage and must be comfortable working independently in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT exams, including routine, emergent, trauma, and contrast studies as ordered.
Perform general diagnostic X-Ray exams, including portable, outpatient, inpatient, and Emergency Department imaging.
Ensure appropriate patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety, and documentation.
Operate imaging equipment in compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, ED staff, nursing, and Imaging team members.
Support workflow during evening and weekend hours with minimal supervision.

Call:
No mandatory call requirement unless otherwise discussed. Optional call may be offered if the traveler is willing; callback is compensated per facility policy.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT certification in Radiography required — ARRT(R).
CT certification preferred — ARRT(CT) strongly preferred.
Current or eligible Montana Radiologic Technologist licensure.
BLS required.
Minimum 1-2 years of recent CT and diagnostic X-Ray experience.
Prior experience working independently in an Emergency Department, hospital, Critical Access Hospital, or rural setting strongly preferred.
Experience with contrast administration and CT safety protocols preferred.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is confident working independently, especially during evening and weekend shifts, and is comfortable supporting both CT and X-Ray needs in a small hospital environment. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize emergent imaging needs are essential.

Environment:
 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving Park County and the greater Yellowstone region. We have a small, collaborative Imaging team, and this traveler will play an important role in maintaining timely CT/X-Ray coverage during evening and weekend hours.

We are not able to provide housing, but I can share a list of potential local options upon request.
